TEAM 2K ATHLETES
The NBA 2K franchise has partnered with many of basketball’s greatest players to form Team 2K. Composed of 17 athletes, these ambassadors are championing the sport and leading the next generation of hoopers in 2K25 and beyond. Of the 17 featured athletes, NBA 2K25’s cover athletes are among them, including Boston Celtics superstar Jayson Tatum, on the Standard and All-Star Editions, two-time WNBA champion A’ja Wilson on the cover of the WNBA and All-Star Edition, and NBA Legend Vince Carter on the Hall of Fame Edition.
JAYSON TATUM
The NBA has a new heir to the throne, and his name is Jayson Tatum. For years, the Boston Celtics forward has been touted as the player that will carry the sport into the future. On the heels of winning his first NBA championship, the five-time All-Star is answering his call to greatness. At only 26 years old and with all of the talent in the world, Tatum is poised for a career full of successes.
A’JA WILSON
The Las Vegas Aces hit the jackpot when they drafted A’ja Wilson with the No. 1 overall pick of the 2018 WNBA Draft. Since then, she’s dominated the WNBA landscape on both ends of the floor, earning Rookie of the Year, two MVP awards, back-to-back Defensive Player of the Year awards, WNBA Finals MVP, and hoisting two WNBA Championships over a six year span. VINCE CARTER
For more than 20 years, Vince Carter captivated fans with his gravity-defying athleticism and electrifying dunks. From winning Rookie of the Year in 1999, to delivering one of the greatest Dunk Contest performances of all-time in 2000, and now headlining the 2024 Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame inductees list, Carter’s influence and impact on the sport is undeniable. He didn’t just soar above the rim—he ascended into the upper echelons of NBA history.
